The place offers a helicopter ride. It was an optional in our tour (it's not included in the tour fee), so if we wanted to join the ride, we had to pay extra for it. I was a bit hesitant, I wasn't crazy about the ride, but my mom reckoned I needed to go and try it. So, both of us ended up joining the ride.
While my mom was so happy enjoying the view from the top, I felt a bit nausea.
Sitting in the front seat, there were few times that it looked like we almost hit the rock! I watched the pilot's hand closely and felt the urge to help him direct the helicopter (of course I didn't know a thing about flying a chopper!).
I have no idea how the pilot did it. He was so calm, yet he never failed to avoid any obstacle in front of us SMOOTHLY.
We finally landed in Franz Josef Glacier. It was so thick that even walking was not an easy thing to do. I tried to hold an almost steady position, gave a BIG SMILE to the camera and that's it! Mission accomplished! =p
I contemplated what has happened back in my hotel room and here's a lesson I learned: "Relax and enjoy your life ride Mia, Don't bother helping God to direct your path. He knows exactly what He's doing!" =)
